About the event
The LGBTQIA+ National March on Washington is a moment of unity, visibility, and strength. On April 30, 2025, thousands will gather in the nation’s capital to stand together against the growing wave of anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation and political efforts to erase our community. This demonstration is about ensuring that our voices, our lives, and our rights are recognized and respected.
With our protections under threat, trans lives being targeted, and queer youth facing increasing challenges, we are coming together to call for full federal protections, an end to discriminatory policies, and a future where LGBTQIA+ people are fully included, valued, and supported.
This peaceful First Amendment demonstration will begin at the National Mall, where speakers will include activists, leaders, and families who refuse to let this moment pass without action.
